Yes, you can request assistance if you have any of the following disabilities:
- Hearing disability: people who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Visual disability: people who are blind or have low vision
- Intellectual or neurodivergent disability: people on the autism spectrum, with Down syndrome, ADHD, or cognitive disorders related to aging (Alzheimer’s, dementia)
- Any other related medical diagnosis.
Please inform us of your disability when:
- When purchasing your ticket on avianca.com, select "Personalize your trip," choose "special assistance," and select the option that best suits your needs.

If you already purchased your ticket, we recommend notifying us at least 24 hours before your flight departure:
- Go to Manage your booking, scroll down to "What else can you do with your booking?" and select "Special Services," then add the appropriate disability information.
- You can also let us know by calling our Contact Center.
- On the day of your trip, visit the airport counter at the "Special Assistance" modules, and one of our agents will assist you.

- We cannot offer you a seat in the emergency exit row for safety reasons.
- If you cannot understand or follow safety instructions, you must have a companion during the flight.
