Thanks to the Interline and Codeshare alliances with GOL Linhas Aéreas, you can easily connect flights from the Avianca and GOL networks in a single transaction, in a single currency, and with a single ticket, to reach more destinations with guaranteed connections.
You can also earn miles on codeshare flights between both companies and redeem them with either of the two. Learn more about this alliance.
- If the first flight is operated by Avianca, you can check-in and get your boarding pass within 48 hours before the flight and no less than one hour before the flight by going to avianca.com, or at airport kiosks or counters, where you can drop off your checked baggage. Remember that charges may apply at the airport depending on the fare you purchased.
- If the first flight is operated by GOL, you need to go to the GOL counters at the airport to get your boarding pass. You can drop off your checked baggage there.
If you are a LifeMiles member and your itinerary includes codeshare flights sold by Avianca (flights with the "AV" code) and operated by GOL, do not forget to provide your LifeMiles member number when booking or checking-in. You can ask the airline you flew with to retroactively add miles if you were already a member of LifeMiles before starting your flight.
Voluntary changes, if you need to make a change in your booking, you can do so via our service channels.
- If your flight is with Avianca, you can select the seat of your choice during check-in or by going to the airport counter. Remember that charges apply depending on the fare you purchased.
