What is Mixed cabin?

When you fly Business Class and have connections with us, you may experience some differences in the services we offer, we call this Mixed cabin. This is because we use different types of aircraft to operate your flights, single aisle airplanes, such as the A320 or A319, and twin aisle aircraft, like the B787 or A330. Here we explain what changes you can expect in the service:

Aircraft type Seating Onboard menu Entertainment
Single aisle Premium Onboard sales service Avianca On Air
Double aisle Business class (Flatbed) Menu service included Built-in

Keep in mind:

  • The Business Seat (Flatbed) has a recline of up to 180° on B787 aircraft and 165° on A330 aircraft (operated by Wamos).
  • Access to the Avianca Lounges, itinerary flexibility, the accrual of LifeMiles, priority service and greater luggage capacity are maintained on all routes. See our onboard experience.
