What happens if my flight is delayed or was canceled?

If your flight is rescheduled with a departure time adjustment (either an advance or a delay of more than 15 minutes) or canceled, we will notify you and offer alternative flight options that fit your plans at no additional cost.

Updates will be sent to the contact details provided at the time of purchase via email, text message (SMS), and WhatsApp, as shown in the following example:

In some cases, if the itinerary we suggest in the email does not fit your plans, you can go to Manage your booking or to the link included in this email; there, you will need to complete the fields and follow the steps to select a new flight. 

Keep in mind:

  • For flights with delays or adjustments of 15 minutes or more, we will inform you of the new departure time. 
  • If your flight is impacted by an operational change, you can request rebooking to fly within 8 days before and 30 days after the original itinerary date, at no additional cost or service fees. The original route and cabin must remain the same. 
  • If you encounter any error while modifying your flight through Manage your booking or the email link, please contact our Contact center.
  • If you made your booking through a travel agency, they will be responsible for notifying you of any changes to your itinerary.
