To support customers affected by recent seismic activity in Colombia, Avianca has expanded its flexible travel options for the four cities most impacted by the seismic activity. Customers holding tickets on direct or connecting flights to or from Pereira, Armenia, Cali and Quibdó through August 30 may choose from the following options at no additional cost, subject to availability:
- Change their travel date through September 30, 2026, with no change fee or fare difference.
- Change your itinerary through alternative airports within Colombia, subject to availability, with no change fee or fare difference. Ground transportation to or from the new destination will be the passenger's responsibility.

Request a refund for 100% of any unused flight segments:
- If you purchased your ticket through avianca.com, our Contact Center, or an Avianca sales office, you can submit your request through our website.
- If you purchased your ticket through a travel agency, please contact the agency directly.
Changes are subject to seat availability on scheduled flights. These flexible travel options apply to all fare types and do not include compensation for missed connections. Check your flight status.
Restricted airports:
Operations remain suspended at Pereira while airport infrastructure undergoes safety inspections and structural assessments.
