We want you to enjoy your flight with peace of mind and safety. In some cases, you may need to travel with a safety assistant who can support you during the flight or in an emergency situation.
When do you need a safety assistant?
You must travel with a safety assistant if you:
- Have difficulty communicating effectively to receive, understand, or respond to safety instructions.
- Cannot assist yourself during an evacuation in case of an emergency.
- Need help eating, using the restroom, or taking medication during the flight.
Please note:
- Safety assistants must have their own ticket.
- If, at boarding, it is determined that you need a safety assistant and you do not have one, you may not be allowed to board the flight for your own safety.
