Can I choose my in-flight meal?

Yes, if you’re flying in INSIGNIA by avianca Business Class, you can choose your meal from 7 days up to 48 hours before your flight. Explore the available options based on your route below. 

From Bogotá to Barcelona, Madrid, London, and Paris
  • Beef tenderloin with rice and vegetables.
  • Chicken with vegetables.
  • Cheese sorrentinos with tomato sauce and vegetables.
From Medellín and Cali to Madrid
  • Chicken and eggplant lasagna.
  • Prawns in coconut milk sauce with cajun rice.
  • Portobello and cheese ravioli.
From Barcelona to Bogotá and from Madrid to Bogotá, Medellín, and Cali
  • Pork meatballs with cassava and carrots.
  • Fish with sauce and roasted vegetables.
  • Ricotta panzerotti with parmesan cheese.
From Paris to Bogota
  • Beef tenderloin with carrots and potatoes.
  • Salmon with rice and roasted tomatoes.
  • Tomato and mozzarella ravioli.
From London to Bogota 
  • Beef with corn cake.
  • Salmon with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

From El Salvador to Madrid

  • You'll receive a confirmation email with your selection. You can modify or cancel it up to 48 hours before departure.
Meal Pre-selection Terms and Conditions

Meal pre-selection is free of charge and does not entitle the passenger to a cash refund. You can access this option through Manage your booking or by calling Avianca’s Contact center up to 48 hours before your flight’s departure. Pre-selection does not constitute an obligation for the airline; if you do not use it, an onboard meal will be offered based on availability. Meal options and onboard availability are subject to change without prior notice. Avianca reserves the right to modify, replace, or not provide certain meals due to operational or logistical reasons. Ingredients and allergens may vary depending on the country of origin. Please refer to the food labels or onboard printed menus for more information.
