When you fly with avianca and our partner airlines, you can earn and redeem miles on flights to destinations all around the world. The miles you earn when flying with these airlines usually count toward achieving Lifemiles elite status and enjoying all its benefits.
- To earn miles on your avianca flights, it’s important to be a Lifemiles member before your flight.
- When booking your trip, be sure to provide your frequent flyer number either at the time of reservation or during check-in. If you didn’t enter your number, you can still request retroactive mileage credit up to 12 months after the flight, as long as you meet the applicable terms and conditions.
- If more than 4 days have passed since your flight and your miles haven’t been credited to your account, you can request retroactive mileage credit.
- If you experienced issues requesting credit online, please complete the Accrual form, and our support team will review your case.
Earning miles is also possible when flying with our airline partners! Before traveling, you must be a Lifemiles member. In addition, you must not have flown with that airline in the last 12 months if it is a Star Alliance member airline, or in the last 6 months if it is Iberia or Gol.
If 14 days after your flight the miles have not been credited to your account, you can request retroactive mileage credit directly with the airline you flew with.
For flights with Star Alliance member airlines, you can request the credit by completing the information in "Pending Miles".
If you flew with an airline that is not part of Star Alliance, or if you flew with a Star Alliance member airline but your miles have not been credited, you can request them through the Accrual Form, attaching the corresponding supporting documents.

- Miles for flights operated by Clic will be earned within a maximum of 60 days after your flight is completed.
