How to access avianca VIP Lounges when flying in Business Class or holding a Lifemiles Elite status?

If you have a Business Class reservation or hold an Elite status with the Lifemiles program, you can access the avianca VIP Lounges by meeting the following requirements:

Access with avianca Business Class

When traveling in Business Class with avianca or any airline in the avianca group, you will have access to:

  • avianca International VIP Lounges.
  • avianca Diamond International VIP Lounges.

To enter, you must present:

  • A valid same-day boarding pass when traveling in Business Class with an airline from the avianca group.
  • A valid government-issued photo ID.
  • The VIP Lounge must be located in the departure airport of your flight.

About companions:

  • You may enter with infants (under 2 years old) without restriction.
  • All companions must meet the same requirements for date, departure airport, and airline.
Access with Lifemiles Elite Status

If you hold a Lifemiles Elite status (Diamond, Gold, Silver, or Red Plus) and are flying with an airline from the avianca group or Star Alliance, you will have access to:

  • avianca Diamond VIP Lounges (domestic and international – Diamond members only).
  • avianca VIP Lounges (domestic and international).

To enter, present:

  • A valid same-day boarding pass.
  • A valid government-issued photo ID.
  • The VIP Lounge must be located in the departure airport of your flight.
  • If your status does not appear on your boarding pass, show your digital Lifemiles Elite card.

About companions:

  • You may bring companions by redeeming one entry for each person.
  • Diamond and Gold members may enter with up to 2 children under 18 years old free of charge.
  • Infants under 2 years old may enter without restriction.
  • All companions must be traveling with avianca or a Star Alliance member airline and meet the same origin and date requirements.

Keep in mind:

Access is available only if you are flying with avianca, GOL, avianca group partner airlines, or Star Alliance member airlines.
