We have implemented flexible travel options for passengers affected by flight cancellations to or from Valencia, Venezuela. Starting September 1, we will operate one daily flight to Caracas and one daily flight to Valencia from Bogotá. If you need to modify your itinerary, you may take advantage of the following options at no additional cost.
These measures apply to bookings with tickets issued on or before August 28, 2026, for flights scheduled on or after September 1, 2026. They are valid for all fare types and for tickets purchased through any sales channel.
If you meet these conditions, you may choose from the following options:
- Route change: Request a change between Caracas and Valencia at no additional charge, subject to availability. Changes must be processed through our Contact Center.
- Date change: You may change your flight date without paying a change fee or fare difference, subject to availability, up to 8 days before or 15 days after your original travel date. This can be done through Manage Your Booking.

Refund: Request a full refund for any unused flight segments:
- If you purchased through avianca.com, our Contact Center, or an Avianca direct point of sale, you can submit your request on our website.
- If you purchased through a travel agency, please contact them directly.
