Are there special fares for seniors, retirees, or passengers with disabilities?

If you have a disability, you will be able to access:

• Discount on your companion's ticket, by purchasing through our Contact center or your travel agency.
• Discount on overweight baggage to carry essential technical aids or medical equipment and in the reservation of an additional seat for your accommodation or that of your technical/medical aids. You must contact our Contact center or your travel agency to make the reservation for these additional services.

• If you are a beneficiary (people with disabilities, widows, orphans, or parents) of the public force, you will be able to receive a discount on the Basic fare on domestic flights in Colombia, excluding taxes. Applies to purchases at our points of sale in Colombia.
• If you are a resident of the San Andrés region, you will be able to obtain a discount on tickets purchased at our points of sale in Colombia.

• If you are a resident of the Galápagos Islands, a discount will be applied based on your type of residence. Learn more.
• If you have a disability or are over 65 years old, you can access a discount on your fare for domestic and international flights. This benefit applies to Ecuadorian citizens or residents and is available when purchasing your ticket at our sales points in Ecuador or through avianca.com. If you make your reservation through our website, follow these steps:

1. Complete the origin and destination fields on the home page.
2. In the passenger number dropdown, check the box “Are you traveling with someone over 65 years old or with a disability?” and click "Continue".
3. A message will appear that will take you to a form; please fill it out.
4. Once submitted, we will contact you to finalize your purchase and apply the corresponding discount.

• Honduran citizens over 80 years of age and retirees are eligible for a discounted fare. Before purchasing their ticket, they must complete this form and select "Senior Citizens and Pensioners - Panama and Honduras" in the Request field. Once we receive the information, we will contact them to complete the purchase.

• Retirees, pensioners, women over 55 years of age, and men over 60 years of age are eligible for a discounted fare on flights to or from Panama. Before purchasing their ticket, they must complete this form and select "Senior Citizens and Pensioners - Panama and Honduras" in the Request field. Once we receive the information, we will contact them to complete the purchase.
